Free pegboard planner
Plan your pegboard like a puzzle, not a spreadsheet.
Pegboardly is a free pegboard planner: drag your real tools onto a 1-inch or SKÅDIS-compatible grid, see exactly what fits before you drill, then print a true 1:1 template and a parts list. It runs in your browser, nothing leaves your device, and there's no account to make.

How it works
Drop tools onto the grid
Drag hooks, bins, shelves and your own custom-sized items straight onto the holes. Everything snaps to the grid, so each piece lands square the first time.
See what fits before you drill
The planner flags overlaps and tight clearances as you arrange things, so you catch a clash on screen instead of after you've already made the holes.
Print a 1:1 template + parts list
Export a true full-size PDF across A4 or Letter, plus a parts list of every hook and bin you used. Tape it up, drill through it, and the layout fits.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Pegboardly pegboard planner free to use?
Yes, completely free. There's no paywall, no trial, and no upsell — plan a board, check the fit, and export a 1:1 printable template at no cost. The whole thing runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install. We keep the lights on with ads on the guide pages, never inside the planner itself.
Do I need to create an account to plan or print a pegboard layout?
No account, no sign-up, no email. Open the planner and start dropping tools straight away. Your layout saves automatically in your browser and travels in a shareable link, so you can come back later or send a design to a friend without ever logging in. Nothing about your layout leaves your device.
Does the planner work on my phone?
Yes. The planner is touch-first: drag items with your finger, or tap a tool and then tap a hole to place it when dragging feels fiddly on a small screen. The page still scrolls normally — only the pieces you grab respond to touch. Plan it on the couch, then print from a computer later.
Can I print a real, full-size pegboard template from my design?
Yes — that's the whole point. Export a true 1:1 PDF, tiled across A4 or Letter pages with alignment marks, and tape it to the wall as a drilling guide. A printed calibration ruler lets you confirm the scale: print at 100%, never fit-to-page, and the holes land exactly where your plan put them.
Does it support both garage 1-inch pegboards and IKEA SKÅDIS-compatible boards?
Yes, both. Switch between a garage 1-inch (25.4 mm) square grid and the SKÅDIS-compatible 40 mm slotted lattice, and the planner snaps every item to that board's real hole pattern. The garage and SKÅDIS-compatible mode landings each seed the right board for you, so you start on the correct grid with no setup.
